BOEING 787-10 ROLL-OUT IN CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP
Mike White was invited to attend the VIP reception at The Boeing South Carolina campus last Friday, February 17, 2017. Almost 2,000 Boeing teammates, local dignitaries and VIPs were in attendance for the historic Roll-Out of the first-ever 787-10 Dreamliner!
Assembled exclusively at the North Charleston Final Assembly Campus, the 787-10 measures 18′ longer than the previous 787 model and will fly for the very first time in the coming months!
President Donald Trump was on hand, with the handsome Air Force One parked in the background, to welcome the new Dreamliner to the Boeing fleet. President Trump also used the opportunity to thank the Boeing workforce for their incredible achievements!
This was a truly historic day for the Charleston Industrial market and one that will mark a clear inflection point, on the heels of the overwhelming vote by the Boeing workforce to deny the labor union intrusion into South Carolina. White stated: “I was honored to be included and share in the obvious excitement of all those present at this special occasion for Boeing and for the Charleston Industrial market.”
